Road to Rome Raffle

Where will the Road take you?

Amy Mintz already had won a free trip to Rome. In May she and her husband Jarod spent a week in the Eternal City with their two young daughters, Bridgette and Annie. Mission of the Brown Robe Benefit

The annual Brown Robe Benefit is orchestrated by a group of committed volunteers and religious- and non-religious staff to raise funds to support the extraordinary lives and ministries of the friars of the Capuchin Province of Mid-America. The Leadership Team is bound by faith and deep-rooted gratitude and heartfelt respect for the men in brown who walk humbly in the footsteps of St. Francis of Assisi.

These Catholic priests and brothers serve those in greatest need. The friars surrender their lives to serve our families, our friends and even more important, the very least of our brothers and sisters. They stand with us during moments of great joy and despair.

The Capuchins’ message is one of humility, love and compassion for humanity. Members of the Leadership Team commit themselves to this event so that the work of the friars and their fruitful ministries may continue to flourish for generations to come.

In places that were abandoned and where no one else would go, there you will find the Capuchin
